Before we plunge into our interviews with policy-makers this week, we took a little time today to recover from the flight (nearly 20 hours in the air) and take in some fresh air and sunshine in Tagaytay.
IEDP 2010 is a course offered by the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. There are twenty-five of us in the class, and we will spend 7 weeks this semester learning about development-related policy issues in the Philippines – including economics, governance, health, human rights, and urban development. We will be traveling to the Philippines for a week at the beginning to March to meet with various policymakers and stakeholders. Please join us as we embark on our journey!
